Please leave cynicism at the door. Be sure to read the full details of the house rules and other considerations below before registering.

House Rules

  • Respect the mission. By joining in, you’re agreeing to show up with an open heart, a willingness to be in community, and an intention to follow these rules.
  • Keep classmates’ disclosures confidential. You agree that personal disclosures from fellow students are not to be shared beyond this community.
  • Be supportive as a default. Encourage and support fellow participants. Call in rather than calling out. (That said, I welcome constructive feedback. If problems arise, please do raise them with me!)
  • Discrimination or disrespect on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, and/or ethnicity are not tolerated.

A Gentle Note and Disclaimer

While my intention is to hold a nurturing and supportive space for this community, the meditative focus of this session might not be a good fit for everyone. It isn’t a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice. If you’re in a particularly flooded state around past trauma or what’s going on in the world, please make sure you’re well-supported before signing up. For medical and mental health concerns, definitely consult a healthcare professional. Participation in meditative contemplation carries the possibility of stirring things up and causing pain. Signing up means you’re okay with that risk.
