Some scary news this morning: my father-in-law’s multiple myeloma has rather suddenly mutated into plasma cell leukemia. Rather than sitting on our terrace this weekend, Max and I (and The Magic Mountain) will be flying south for a trip of uncertain duration. Have a good holiday. I’ll be back when I’m back.
