R.I.P. Mark Twain

Mark Twain died ninety-six years ago last Friday. Remembering my recent promise to leave the great writer’s bones undisturbed, my friend Bryan figured it was safe to send the gravesite photo (above) he shot while driving through Elmira, NY over the weekend.

I’m still making my way through Twain’s publications, and recently discovered that LibriVox has put out a free audiobook of Twain’s “Chapters from My Autobiography” (originally published in the North American Review from 1906-1907). You can view digital images of the text here.
