Granta on religion

The latest Granta, “God’s Own Countries,” includes essays from AL Kennedy, John McGahern, Gary Shteyngart, Diana Athill, and Nadeem Aslam on “their personal experiences — close, baffling, acrimonious or non-existent — of the divine.” I wish I hadn’t let my subscription lapse.
