Chris Lehmann on the “strategic communications” outfit recently busted for “placing agreeable propaganda in the Iraqi press at the behest of the U.S. Department of Defense”:

substitute “capitalism” for “terror” and, oh, “Romanian” for “Iraqi,” and [the Lincoln Group’s] thundering official statement transmogrifies into an unalloyed specimen of Cold War-era agitprop right out of the Khrushchev playbook.
