Fishbowl Faulkner

All the rooms on the virtual tour of William Faulkner’s Rowan Oak have a puffy, life-in-a-fishbowl quality that mirrors the way I see the world for weeks after Daylight Savings Time ends. (Actually, forget weeks. That extra hour of sleep on a Sunday afternoon is the pathway to six months of hell.)

The notes about the individual rooms are worth a look, though. If you zoom in on the walls of Faulkner’s office, you can see his working plan, written in graphite and grease pencil, for A Fable.
