Elizabeth Spiers, perhaps best known as Gawker’s founding editor, is a damned funny writer. Publishers Lunch announces today that she’s sold a satirical Wall Street novel, And They All Die in the End, to Geoffrey Kloske at Simon & Schuster. She’ll be stepping down from her Mediabistro position to focus on the novel and freelance writing.
If I’m not mistaken, Kloske’s prior first-time authors include David Sedaris, Dave Eggers, and Sarah Vowell. He also published Bob Dylan’s Quill-winning autobiography.
