Thinking of London

Like everyone else Stateside, I woke up to the terrible news.

Also like everyone else — even, I’m guessing, those who’ve weathered IRA bombings and are urging perspective — I’ll spend the day glued to the reports, and to the eyewitness accounts and photos, and hoping for word from Londoners.

This seems like a good time to bow out for the week. Annie Reid takes over around most Fridays — possibly including tomorrow. I’ll be back on Monday.
