Sacked Waterstone’s blogger hired by Forbidden Planet

Forbidden Planet has hired Joe Gordon, “the blogger famously sacked last year by his employer Waterstone’s [a U.K. bookseller] for comments made about the company” on his blog, The Woolamaloo Gazette. His new job at the sf-related megachain is to “improve their graphic novels and SF books side of the business”.

At the moment, Forbidden Planet has another publishing job on offer:

A rare opportunity to edit our licensed Star Trek Magazine, with involvement in other projects. Knowledge of Star Trek in all its forms is a requirement, as are commissioning skills. For both roles candidates must be computer literate (Mac based, training is available). A sense of humour is a definite advantage.
