Dirty laundry, aired

“Maud Newton once shot a man in Reno just to watch him die, then shot another one because she didn’t think the first one ‘gave a compelling performance.'”

At least I didn’t kill them with a hay hook.

Anyhow, that’s it from me for now. The irrepressible and irresistible Annie Reid takes over tomorrow and most Fridays.

I’ll be back, briefly, over the weekend, to post reader mail and introduce some guest bloggers. And then I’ll be hiding out in Massachusetts for ten days, working on my novel.

By the way, I’m pretending the inauguration isn’t happening, but if you’re unable to envelop yourself in denial, you might wish to read a book or get out to Cooper Union tomorrow night.

Have a good weekend.
