I’m back, and I’m sporting a big inferiority complex

This post was written by guest blogger Andy Fine.

I don’t know how Maud does it — this blogging stuff is incredibly time consuming. Anyway, today I somehow got caught in the trial of a case I thought I had settled, spent eight hours in court, and then had the whole thing postponed due to a mistrial (that’s a “bad court thingy” for you non-lawyers). Not only did that render my entire day meaningless, it cut into my daylight-hour posting time . Thus an extensive overnight update is on the horizon — think of it as the maudnewton.com red-eye.

Tomorrow should be more normal, but since, unlike some people, I sort of have to work for a living, anything can happen. It’s the zany world we live in.
