So Lawrence Weschler wants to start this magazine called Omnivore. The prototype, which contains work by Ian Frazier, Jamaica Kincaid, Oliver Sacks, Ricky Jay, Errol Morris, and David Hockney, is apparently very beautiful. Ed Page, who recently had his mitts on a copy, says, “Wow! Gorgeous! Sumptuous! Delicious!” He reports that it has “beautiful full-color on almost every page. Thick smooth sexy paper. And top-drawer design.” I won’t tell you what else he said. The man loves pretty magazines entirely too much.
