In the Maud household, we prefer to keep our books clumsily stacked in front of the closets

A friend who’s a reference librarian in Bermuda (yes, it’s a tough life for him) forwards a link to Your Home Library: The Complete System for Organizing, Locating, Referencing, and Maintaining Your Book Collection, which includes software and instructions. He describes it as:

kind of a library automation cataloge for the personal collector. Very useful for the first edition set and for anyone who wants to (and would spend the time on) cataloging and organizing their collection.

It’s too weak to use in a church or school library or really any kind of true lending facility (through there is room to track who you loaned books to).

(Thanks, Christian.)
