Ms. fiction contest

Ms. Magazine relaunched recently with a new emphasis on fiction. Amy Bloom now serves as fiction editor there and will judge a new annual fiction contest “seeking the freshest, most original voices from both well-established and unknown writers.” The grand prize is $1000 and publication in the magazine. The deadline is August 1. There’s a reading fee of $15.
