You know the Oscars have become dull when the show’s better at the 2004 California Book Awards. The SF Chronicle reports of feistiness amid the acceptance speeches, then get oddly delicate about naming who left the room in a huff. An alleged huff. Does that cover any legalities? “… who left the room in an alleged huff.”
