Rare Joyce artefacts up for sale

Among the James Joyce-related manuscripts, books and drawings that went on display yesterday was Joyce’s letter asking a publisher to consider his fictional debut, Dubliners. The letter is expected to sell for £20,000 to £30,000 later this week, but at the time it prompted only a rejection from the publisher. (Thanks to Fiona for the link.)
