LaHaye book too extreme for Canadian Christian bookstore

Here’s a strange thing Mr. Maud and I have in common: a family legacy of Christian bookstores in South Florida. His grandmother started the largest one in Miami, while my mother founded hers in a strip mall storefront adjoining one of the spaces in which she ran her own Charismatic church.

Both stores would have sold the apocalyptic LaHaye Left Behind books, of that I’m certain, but there’s at least one Christian bookseller in Canada that won’t stock the latest one. (Via Publishers Lunch.)
