Ed Page points me (and everyone else at the FIPNTRA) to an “unexpectedly personal and heartbreaking” Fresh Air interview with Maurice Sendak. Ed says Sendak talks about his family, the Holocaust, his mother’s and his own depression, and the time, when he was six or seven, that he “inadvertently caused the death of a neighbor boy.”
