The New Quagmire of the New Pacification?

The new Mississippi is online:

The January 2004 issue features fiction, poetry, and essays focusing on the politics of 2004 and beyond. We’re interested in looking at who and what this country is now, after the terror of 9/11, after the second Iraq War, after the new quagmire of the new pacification, after the new Bush doctrines of pre-emptive war and democracy by declaration. Edited by philosopher and theologian Gary Percesepe, this issue hopes to set the stage for our readers as we enter into the election year.
