The instant Kate Christensen library

After reading my interview with Kate Christensen, an interested but broke reader asked for “a little giveaway love.” So I looked into it, and Christensen’s publisher has agreed to send a copy of each of her novels — In the Drink, Jeremy Thrane, The Epicure’s Lament, and The Great Man — to one of you.

This time I’m taking a page from The Elegant Variation’s rulebook and using a random number generator to choose a winner from all the entries I receive between now and tomorrow (Thursday, the 25th), 7 a.m., EST. Send email with “Christensen giveaway” in the subject line to maud [at] maudnewton [dot] com. No previous winners, please. Kate McLaughlin of Tucson wins the set.

Bonus links: Paper Mag has dinner with the author; she reads from In the Drink at Salon; Terry Teachout admires The Great Man; and Tim Hall interviews Christensen (circa 2000) at the (astonishingly terrible) Kellogg’s Diner.
