New Alice scholarship

Michael Dirda says Will Brooker’s Alice’s Adventures: Lewis Carroll in Popular Culture “makes a good companion to Robert Phillips’s classic anthology Aspects of Alice, which covers the essentials of Wonderland scholarship between the 1860s and 1960s. It also complements Martin Gardner’s celebrated Annotated Alice.”

Will Brooker will speak at the The Lewis Carroll Society of North America’s Spring Meeting at Harvard on May 8. He is also the author of Batman Unmasked: Analyzing a Cultural Icon and Using the Force: Creativity, Community and Star Wars Fans.
