Last week I mentioned that NASA has named musician and performance artist Laurie Anderson its artist-in-residence. In a Newsweek interview last week, she admitted to having writerly ambitions for the project:

my secret dream is to write an epic poem. That’s probably the most pretentious thing I’ve said.

Pretentious how?

Well, “epic.”
