Isaac Bashevis Singer centenary

Terry was the first to link to the new, comprehensive Isaac Bashevis Singer website, launched by The Library of America in honor of the centenary of Singer’s birth. (Rarely have I seen such an affecting photograph of a writer in his later years.)

The library is issuing a volume of Singer’s Collected Stories, containing “nearly 200 stories–the full range of Singer’s vision encompassing Old World shtetl and New World exile.”
