Change the Way You See

This post was written by guest blogger Stephany Aulenback.

Some of the pages from one of my favourite books, The Art of Looking Sideways. According to the jacket copy:

The Art of Looking Sideways is a primer in visual intelligence, an exploration of the workings of the eye, the hand, the brain, and the imagination. It is an inexhaustible mine of anecdotes, quotations, images, curious facts and useless information, oddities, serious science, jokes, memories – all concerned with the interplay between the verbal and the visual.

Unfortunately, those images may be too small to get a real sense of just how great this book is. This is the kind of book you’ll pick up and disappear into again and again.
